Why Merino wool
Learn some of the reasons why I decided to produce merino wool garments. As you have noticed, in our store for the past six months, products made of wool and wool-cashmere blend have started to appear.
Since the beginning of the brand, I have invested in natural knits and yarns.
It wasn’t until the creation of LANA sweaters that my eyes were opened to the fact that you don’t really need to be dressed in onions in winter to not get cold. All you need is a well-chosen sweater with the right composition and at most a wool coat.
Merino wool clothing is breathable and thermoregulatory which is a huge and not so common advantage. What’s better, I never opted for sweaters or pants made of wool. I found them uncomfortable to the touch and biting. Merino wool is completely different, totally pleasant to the touch and very soft. Merino wool is a luxury material and when we received the first prototypes of sweaters I could not believe how beautiful they look. I am incredibly proud of them.
